2009年に開催した個展「memorygram」で展示した作品。2004年から2009年にかけて撮影した都市のスナップで構成している。
アーティストステートメントは当時から一貫しており、当時の展覧会図録には「人の心を打つ写真とは、人にデジャヴを見せる写真ではないか」「心の奥にある、確かに記憶にはあるが正体が定かではない光景」といった言葉が残っている。
The works exhibited in the solo exhibition “memorygram” held in 2009. The collection consists of snapshots of the city taken between 2004 and 2009.
The artist’s statement has remained consistent since then, and the exhibition catalog from that time contains words such as, “A photograph that touches the heart is one that shows a person a sense of déjà vu,” and “A scene that exists in the depth of the heart, one that is certainly remembered but whose true nature remains unclear.”
